Welcome to Quilting by KC

My name is Kathleen Crabtree.  I've been longarm machine quilting for over eight years.  I own two APQS Millennium quilting machines, and a Husqvarna Designer SE (embroidery) machine.  

I specialize in freehand design quilting, however by owning two quilting machines, I am able to meander quilts in a very short time frame. I have been sewing and quilting for approximately twenty-five years, and I love to share quilting with others.

Every year I attend classes to further my education as a quilter.   It is my desire to help finish your quilts in a style that enhances your beautiful work.

I also donate my time by piecing and machine quilting for service projects in my community.

I am a member of several quilt organizations on a local, state and national level.  I have won several 1st place ribbons on my quilts in my state.  I recently won Best Machine Quilting presented by Karen McTavish.  I've also been awarded a teachers ribbon at the Machine Quilters Showcase and Minnesota Quilt Show.  If you would like to see photos of my work, please check at the website listed below.
